Sharon Stone forgives Madonna about letter from the 90s..

Sharon Stone has reached out to Madonna after the pop star dubbed her 'horribly mediocre' in a previously unseen letter penned in the 90s. Taking to Facebook on Thursday, the Basic Instinct star, 59, proved there were no bad feelings between the pair as she wrote: 'Know that I am your friend. I have wished to be a rock star in some private moments… have felt as mediocre as you described. We know, as only those who have survived so long that owning our own mediocrity is the only way to own our own strengths; to become all that we both have become. Sharon continued: 'I love and adore you; won’t be pitted against you by any invasion of our personal journeys. The Oscar-nominated actress made the remarks in response to a handwritten letter by Madonna, which has surfaced for the first time as it is set to be sold at auction next week. In the letter - which was written to actor John Enos in the early 1990s..

Madonna bemoans what she saw as a lack of success while slamming the 'horribly mediocre' careers of Sharon Stone and Whitney Houston.


In the never seen before letter, the Material Girl starts off by explaining that she's been in a 'foul mood lately' and is 'so uncomfortable in my own skin right now.
