Audrey Hepburn didn't diet and indulged in chocolate & pasta..

Audrey Hepburn, whose weight has been a source of intense interest around the world, was really a woman who loved chocolate and pasta. She didn't diet,' the late star's partner, Robert Wolders, told People. Her son, Luca Dotti, insisted: 'People think because she was skinny that she had an eating disorder, but it's not true. She loved Italian food and pasta. She ate a lot of grains, not a lot of meat, and a little bit of everything. Robert, who is now 80-years-old, said the iconic Breakfast At Tiffany's actress maintained a balanced diet. We had brown bread with jam for breakfast, lunch would be chicken or veal or pasta, often with vegetables from the garden, and for dinner we often had soup with chicken and vegetables. She had chocolate after dinner, baking chocolate. She had a finger or two of Scotch at night. She didn't drink wine. Robert remembers taking long walks with his Belgium-born partner, and even says she could 'outwalk' him..


but she never concerned with hitting a target in their exercises. She had a healthy metabolism but she was not excessive. She never said, "I have to do five miles today.


Audrey's son previously explained to People of his mother's weight: 'The reason for her slenderness was because from the time she was 9 to 16, during World War II, she was extremely malnourished. 

The time she most needed nourishment, she didn’t have enough food. When the Nazis locked down Holland in 1944, they called it the Winter of Hunger and my mom didn’t have enough to eat,' he said.
